Yosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias Trip
This is a great tour. The day is a long day. Be prepared for this tour to take up your whole day. I loved this tour. I wish we could have spent more time at the Sequois Trip. Travis our tour guide is a great tour leader. I have to give him great reviews. At the end of the tour, some A--hole has making big deal deal and being loud about how he has a 4am flight. This guy wanted to go home and go to bed. Travis maintained his composure. He did a great job
San Francisco Golden Gate Whale-Watching Tour
we decided to do the whale watching it was an experience of a lifetime. The crew ensure your safety and comfort throughout and their knowledge of the marine life is brilliant. We saw at least eight humpback whales. A day trip I will never forget We enjoyed this so much. The crew was very nice and knowledgeable. Seeing the whales was something I will never forget. My only advice is to wear warm clothing. The wind was very chilly. I highly recommend the San Francisco Whale Watching Tour.
Muir Woods Tour of California Coastal Redwoods
eally nice tour here. Everything was well organized and went without a hitch. The only thing I would say is you don't get much actual time in the woods. I think it was only about an hour. If you actually want to experience the woods I would suggest just shuttling over and paying 10 to get in. The park was our favorite part and we got to experience it the least.
The tour guide on the bus was nice and entertaining but I think what I'm driving home is if you want to experience the woods go to the woods. If you want to learn a few tidbits in transit, take a short walk around and come back to San Francisco then this is your tour.
San Francisco Bridge-to-Bridge Cruise
We would highly recommend this cruise. The headphones made it so much easier to hear. The cruise gets so close to Alcatraz you can see the buildings. I enjoyed traveling under each bridge Excellent head phone guided tour, Red and White fleet well organised. Plenty of room to move around the top deck for viewing and photos.
Jail and Sail: Alcatraz Tour and Twilight Bay Cruise
This tour was everything we were hoping for and more. Alcatraz was very interesting and we spent the better part of the afternoon taking in the history of The Rock. The twilight cruise was a fun way to cap of a great day exploring Alcatraz. There were plenty of appetizers and snacks to munch on while cruising around the bay. We were so lucky because on the evening of our cruise we had a full moon, no fog and we even saw several whales swimming around he pylons of the Golden Gate Bridge. It was perfect!!!!
California Academy of Sciences General Admission Ticket
The Academy itself was amazing, so worthwhile and no problems there. It was the Skip the Line component. There was no Skip the Line, I couldn't get my ticket to scan and the entry staff said they hadn't heard of this offer. Had to queue at ticket box same as everyone else. Don't offer what can't be delivered.
Alcatraz Island
Visiting this historic island was great, it is so worth pre booking way in advance as it is very busy!
The boat journey was chilly but a great view on the way to the island and to see San Fran from a distance.
You get greeted welcomingly, with advice on the best way to view the 'park'. The audio tour we found to be the most interesting, very informative and exciting!

Ferry Building Marketplace
Great atmosphere Really delicious food shops There is also a gluten free bakery - Mariposa - they have the best gluten free pasteries, I've ever tried!! On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday there is Farmers Market just outside the Ferry Building.
Incredible life inside and outside the Ferry building. You can choose which type of food you want and walk after, along the docks. Very nice ambience
Japanese Tea Garden
A very quiet and beautiful garden in a proper Japanese style. If you want a timeout, you can spend some time here just relaxing, taking in the peace and quiet, sitting down and enjoying the nature.
There is a small shop with Japanese items, and a small cafe that serves some food and tea.Entrance costs a little bit, but worth it if you take your time.
Max Napa Tours
Excellent time! Evan is very knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. He also knows his wines! Had a fabulous day and learned a lot. Beautiful! I would highly recommend Max Napa Tours!
Would highly recommend this tour. Not only did we get to try some great wines, but also got great info about wines, wine country, and San Francisco over the 9 hours with Max. Worth every penny.
