The arch is centered in a roundabout so if you're able to navigate across the road to it you're one of the brave (those cars stop for no one). The arch is beautiful and much bigger in person than imagined. The artwork and design that went into this monument is true craftsmanship.

It's awesome to see the statue of liberty in France. We saw it from our cruise boat on the river. It's what we have in common with the French.If you are an American, or have ever been taken in by the grandeur, beauty and meaning of the Statue of Liberty, you owe it to yourself to see her smaller doppelganger. A 1/4 sized version given to France by the US, this was one of the working models in the construction of the one in New York. The park is a pleasant place to walk, the statue is at the end and offers some good views down the Seine, and it is FREE. If you don't want to stand in the lines for the Tour Eiffel (or if you just want to get out of the crowds) walk the few blocks along the Seine and check her out.

The place de la Concorde is a great square in the middle of Paris where the statue of the King once stood before being replaced by the Guillotine. Now the Obelisk of Luxor is the centerpiece and a great one it is. Certainly the history it has is great but the gold pyramid top that makes it perfect for pictures.

This is Paris's most famous fountain! There's not another one like it! It features Saint Michael (Saint Michel in French) killing the Devil at the centre and dragon-like creatures on the edges. It's quite beautiful tbh , The fountain itself its great, but the monument looks like it is forgotten by the city! !
