The best possible conditions...A stunning view - and the mountain is a real "cookie". Hard to get up in thin air and the way down has to be well pondered (normally takes longer) than the way down. Excellent guiding and safe journey... redeemed with one of the best experiences ever. The mountain is overall impressive - in all aspects.

Fantastic winter and summer recreation and sports area. Whether hiking or skiing you can do both all year long at the foot of the Matterhorn. Sleep in the town of Zermatt and wake up to some of the most dramatic and spectacular views in the world.

You can't describe how amazing the sight of the Matterhorn is. Its beautiful.

Heidiland and Liechtenstein Tour from Zurich

Beautiful views on the way to Liechenstein! On the way, we stopped in a beautiful town called Rapperswil-Jona, town of roses. Awesome views of Lake Zurich. Time to have lunch there, but VERY expensive....15 for a burger at McDonalds...Yikes! Was not impress with Liechenstein, seen the castle up above and paid to get a stamp in our passport. Heidiland was OK.

Lake Lucerne Panoramic Sightseeing Cruise

Lovely sunny spring day, great views, nice yacht. Crew very friendly. Audio tour is interesting giving history of surrounding area and pointing out points of interest. Highly recommend

Peace and serenity on this cruise. There are other cruises which offer entertainment from Indian movies, but we did not opt for that  the views were wonderful.

Freddie Mercury Memorial

It is a nice walk along Lake Geneva to see Freddie Mercury. There is a little place of swimming near by and some small parks.The statue is a must see in Montreux. Just a short pilgrimage type visit is needed. The attraction is that it is brilliantly maintained.

Anyone who loves music will love this, Perfect way to remember Freddie in his classic pose.

It's a statue to a great musician. Not much other than that. But it is along the lakeside walkway of Lake Lemans which is very, very worthwhile to stroll along during the time of the Jazz Festival.

Bernina Express

The Bernina Express is an amazing feat of engineering. The carriage cars were modern and very clean.
The landscape is wonderful through the Alps. The Bernina Express is a scenic railway running through the Swiss and Italian Alps that provides the traveler with breath-taking views along the way. Most of the route runs along the World Heritage Site known as the Rhaetian Railway. 

The train has panoramic coaches in first class and it's worth paying a little extra to see the views. You will wonder at the way the Swiss engineering to build tunnels and bridges and. Enable the train to climb to such amazing heights along the way. This is also a journey that can done as a day out.
