Mutianyu Great Wall
Amazing view from the top and fun to ride the toboggan down, unlike the badaling great wall where it always mountain people mountain sea, we actually got to enjoy the view on top the great wall
The Great Wall is a sight that everyone needs to experience at least once. Mutianyu Great Wall in my opinion is the section you need to visit.
Firstly, this section isn't too full. There aren't too many crowds and it's easy for nice photographs. Additionally, the walk is nice and it's really accessible, there is a cable car which we didn't take but takes you to the higher watch towers. We took the chair lift as well as the toboggan. It was an aesthetic ride up and an exhilarating ride down, good fun!

Temple of Heaven (Tiantan Park)
Temple of Heaven is a place where the Emperor did the prayers, pray for the best of the country, today Temple of Heaven is a place where we can go for some memories, some history, through this place you can imagine how important of this event, it's really worth to go and have a look have a feel.
The building is unique and traditional. full of Chinese cultural touch. consider if you walk with children or elderly
Catherine Lu Tours
Prompt on time pickup, clean car, great air conditioning, was extremely warm on the day. Knew all the shortcuts, knew all the best ways to avoid queues. Lots of information on the different dynasty and history of the place. Tour guide was Very pleasant to talk with, great knowledge and international knowledge of sites. takes time with you and English was fantastic. Would highly recommend Jenny for any of your tours in Beijing. She was the best. If you want to experience Beijing, then Jenny and this tour company was the best.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
Wow !A beautiful place like heaven. A must for all to vist once in lifetime. The mountains are spectacular and simply breathtaking. Lots of trekking but worth every step. The misty Hallelujah Mountain of Avatar was mind blowing. Cant describe the site with words.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is a huge national park having many scenic areas inside it spread away from each other across towns. We spent three days here and only saw the most basics of them.
Longmen Grottoes
These grottoes are amazing by its sheer size and numbers. Manmade caves of various sizes, from small to gigantic, can be found there, all with at least a Buddha statue inside. The grottoes were created over hundreds of years span of time. Some Buddha statues on the grottoes were damaged during the Japanese occupation era. The temple and house of Chiang Kai Sek within the grottoes preserved area are also worth a visit.
