Burj khalifa is an example of excellent architecture and engineering.
There are 3 observations decks,148,125,124. The topmost being 148th floor we decided to go for it. It comes with a package of access to 125th and 124th floor view points. The price almost doubles there. Price was a bit too high.
Since 125th & 124th are so near we skipped 124th for saving some time to watch the fountain show below.
The view from the observation deck is great!
Burj Al Arab
This is obviously one of the iconic buildings in dubai, and the world in general. What other hotel is so instantly recognisable?
The hotel is amazing to look at from afar. The best places to get a picture of the outside are from outside Wild Wadi, near the Burj Al Arab security gate, or from the pier on the beach below. Also is great to see from the canals near Souk Madinat near Minah A Salam hotel.
You cannot go inside without a reservation at the hotel. Our hotel concierge organised it for us, as we asked to dine at Sahn Eddar. This was the cheapest restaurant to dine in, and is on the second floor of the hotel lobby. Views of the beach are nice, and you get s great view of the atrium on the hotel. The view is actually better than the restaurant on the higher level, which just looks out to sea, which can be a hazy view,
Dubai Fountains
Terrific fountain show with lights and fun music. A great spot to see the Burj Khalifa at night, and to run into the shops in the large mall.There is a show in the afternoon (13h) but I really recommend the evening show with the beautiful lightening on the Burj Khalifa.
Magic fountains is really the place where you really need to visit and see. Specially at evening the fountains are just amazing.

The Dubai Mall
The most famous Dubai Aquarium and ice rink to be in one place. A perfect place for a family. You'll never get enough when you are in Dubai Mall, you will not waste a single minute being bored as everything you need, everything you want is just right there..
Absolutely massive mall, largest in the world I think? Very nice though, has all of the shops you need and the food court must have at least 50 places to eat, very nice place to go. The aquarium is also enjoyable and the burj khalifa. The fountain is just outside the mall too, it's nice when the weather is too hot you can quickly see the fountain show then enjoy the air con in the mall.
Ski Dubai
This place is great - just because it's so daft! The fact that you can ski in the 44C heat of Dubai on real snow is amazing. You just gotta do it - look out for coupons from the locals!
Ski dubai is awesome experience in dubai.. Amazed to see ice when outside temperatures sores to 50 degree Celsius.
If you havent ski before or you are not an expert and want to learn this is a good option,
I believe this is a good place for people who are living in hot countries and want to experience the feeling of snow.
