Historic Centre of Brugge

A very beautiful small town in Belgium. Take a guidet tour with bus or horse. The atmosphere was fantastic and there was many good restaurants and a tons of small shops with childrens clothing and womans/menswear that you dont find other places. It is a lot of people visiting, so I would recommend to visit Brugge on a weekday.
Bruges is a picture-postcard city. Beautiful canals, and narrow streets. The architecture is exquisite, and the crowds do not take anything away from a trip there.
Amble around the famous Market Square, eating an amazing ice cream, or sit and watch the world go by at one of the numerous cafes.

Grand Place LOCATION
Brussels, Brussels 1000, Belgium
The square is full of tourists and guides getting their fill of the beautiful building surroundings. On a Friday night the square was full of small groups drinking and chatting. It looked fun if you don't mind sitting on cobbles.Don't miss the Grand Place when visiting Brussels. We especially enjoyed an early morning visit without the crowds.
Burg Square LOCATION
Hoogstraat and Breidelstraat, Brugge, B8000, Bruges, Belgium
Go here for the basilica of the holy blood and the Stadhuis. Both are worth a visit. While we were there a concert was occurring that night, so the fantastic architecture lost some of it's appeal behind a stage, but worth visiting.Center of Bruges. Many tourists. Several historical buildings with interesting facades. Basilica of holy blood is on the square.. Bruge is a gem, an absolutely beautiful place and the Burg is unique. The architecture is truly very beautiful, the buildings are magnificent. Definitely worth a visit to Bruge.
Graslei and Korenlei LOCATION
Graslei en Korenleih, Ghent, Belgium
Ghent is a beautiful city and the Graslei and Korenlei area is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy incredible Belgian beer and watch the world go by. With views of the castle, the grain house and numerous ornate guild houses along the river this is a great place to enjoy many of Ghent's touristic sites.Ghent is spectacular! I really love the place. This is one of the reasons. Here you can spend hours just people-watching or having a beer.
Minnewater Lake LOCATION
Bruges 8000, Belgium
A beautiful lake in the downtown area. There are lots of benches...so take the time to relax and just enjoy the beauty.Beautiful peaceful area. Not far from the centre area but well worth the walk. The old buildings reflected on the water create perfect photos.
if you stroll along the Minnewater Lake - which you can hardly miss after getting out of the Bruges Train Station - you can find peace and quiet, sit down for a picnic, ride your bike, ...definitely worth some time to explore.
Tyne Cot Cemetery LOCATION
Vijfwegestraat 1, Zonnebeke 8980, Belgium
It is just incredible to see how many people died in these appalling wars.But the Commonwealth grave commission have kept the site spotless and so well presented.The history is detailed and very moving. a beautiful, peaceful walk around the lake !! Leads into the center of town which is nice ! Nice romantic walk too !
