Aqua Brava LOCATION
Aqua Brava is a great place to spend a day out with the family. We visited on a hot day in August, peak season, when the park was at its busiest but still had a lot of fun. There were a few long queues (Cobra and Anaconda particularly) but most rides moved fairly quickly. The White Hole is undoubtedly the most exciting water slide followed by Kamikaze. Whilst the park doesn't have as many high octane thrills as others, it more than makes up for it by providing something for everyone. The Rio Grande and the Rio Danube were also recommended by those in our party looking for fun rather than adrenaline.

Views in every direction, quiet and peaceful and just a wonderful place to visit. Also Cala Calitjas and Cala Joncols are lovely little coves which are off the beaten track, though don't expect to be the only ones there, they might be a fair old hike to get to, but they are not so secret.
This is a stunning area of outstanding beauty.Amazing views along the Mediterranean. We hiked from the lighthouse to Almadrava and loved every minute. Take water with you and a towel and swimsuit
Roses Citadel LOCATION

A large site in the centre of town, beautifully kept. You could spend a long time here studying the interesting layers of history--good info on this is provided in several languages . A large and pleasant "fort" (and museum) in which to spend 2-3 hours wandering around in its extensive grounds,
Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Emporda LOCATION

Gorgeous place with incredibly serene atmosphere. Went there in the early afternoon, spent around three hours walking around Visited in May, so some areas were closed to the nesting, which was fine anyway, as there is plenty of birds to watch. Easy walking, well maintained paths. Amazing birds reserve with a lot of cabins for watch; it takes 3h to walk the 1+2 routes, ending in the beach. You can rent binoculars for 2,5€. Cycles are not allowed in these routes.
